Obituary for Cleve Newton, Jr.

Cleve Newton, Jr., 48 of Portland, Tennessee, formerly of Lexington/Winchester, Kentucky passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. He was born on April 19, 1969 in Lexington, Kentucky. He is predeceased by his father Cleve Newton, Sr. of Lexington, Kentucky.He was a self-employed electrician for many years prior to his accident.

He is survived by (1) Daughter, (1) Son, (1) Grandson & (1) Granddaughter:  Daughter: Amanda (Adam) Case of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky Son: Colton Brooks Newton of Scooba, Mississippi who resides with his grandparents, Grandson: Austin James Case and Granddaughter: Aspen LaShea Case. He is survived by his mother Linda Fraley of Mt. Sterling, KY, (3) brothers: Michael (Amy) Newton of Lexington, KY, Ronnie Morgan of South Lebanon, Ohio, Jude (Jessica) Fraley of Salvisa, Kentucky  (3) sisters: Ann (Richard) Curtis of Winchester, Kentucky, Melissa (Bill) Craker, and Gina (Bill) Condra of Lexington, Kentucky.He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, several nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews, and a host of extended family and dear friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his Grandparents Jess & Rebecca Hunter and Alson & Virgie Cole and Stepfather Roger Fraley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00PM, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 1:00PM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
