Obituary for Charles Franklin Hager

Charles Franklin Hager, 82, widow of Joan M. Hager, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 at University of Kentucky Medical Center.  He was born in Jessamine County, KY, on May 9, 1935, to the late Louis and Louvana Rankin Hager.  

Mr. Hager was a United States Navy and Army Reserves Veteran and a member of Calvary Christian Church.  He was a farmer and supporter of Walk for Life. 

Survivors include two sons, Charles Louis (Sheryl) Hager of Florida and James Edward (Connie Spencer) Hager of Kentucky; four grandchildren, Charles Christopher (Jannette) Hager and Brandy (Brad) Melton, Spears Allen Hager and Abbigail Elizabeth Hager; two step granddaughters, Alexandra and Danielle; two great grandchildren, Elle Hager and Landon Hager; several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Arnold Hager; and two brothers, Eugene Hager and John Edward Hager. 

Services will be at 12:00PM, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Scobee Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joe Demer, Art Lyman, Christopher Hager, Spears Hager, Charles "Shorty" Howard and Brad Melton.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Allan, Jason Pasley, Terry Black, Shirley Black and Edward Shaferjohn. 

Visitation will be from 11:00AM until time of service at noon.
